Our red aggregate is used for the distinctive exposed aggregate that forms pavements in heritage areas of Auckland city. It is also used for the shoulders of Auckland’s motorways. McCallum red chip has been very popular for use in driveways and concrete paths for decades and is often re-applied to match existing concrete or to add a warmer hue than standard grey concrete. For concrete applications, Red Rock is light, strong and produces durable hard concrete. The durability rating is 8 on the MOH’s scale and Red Rock is resistant to chemical activity.
