At 68m long, William Fraser, the newest ocean-going vessel in our fleet was built from scratch by the Berjaya Dockyard in Miri, Malaysia. The landing craft is named after the founder of McCallum Bros Limited® and the late “Uncle Bill” McCallum.
She was constructed to Bureau Veritas standards and is surveyed to make international voyages. She is also powered by environmentally friendly low emission engines that meet U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emission standards.
The primary purpose of this vessel is to extract sand however, she is available for charter, specialising in fuel transfer with roll-on, roll-off capabilities. She was Project Managed by Mike Haynes who ensured every detail was perfect.
