Log Barging

With the use of our landing craft vessels, we have the ability to access hard to reach places by sea included secluded coastal areas as well as islands such as the Hauraki Islands or further afield.

We can transport 500 – 1,800 tonnes of logs in one barge load direct to ports around the country. This reduces the amount of truck movements needed to cart trees direct to ports or sawmills. For instance the Kapua equates to around 17 truck and trailer loads of logs where as the William Fraser is around 60 truck and trailer loads. Other vessels could be available with even greater capacity.
